Many in our congregation along with friends from other communities have been asking for more on how to change the race dialog in our own spheres. And dialog, we all know, is not all that we’re really seeking, but actual real change.
Across our country and even beyond, a book called How to be an Antiracist, by Ibram X Kendi has become an important conduit for pursuing that change.
We’d like to read it with you. And to talk about it with you. If you’d like to come along, we’re offering a Sunday evening book study of How to be an Antiracist for five weeks, starting February 21 at 5:30 by Zoom.
Let’s move forward in the task that has been highlighted by such sadness in the last years around us on matters of race. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like the Zoom invitation. And do order the book at Cokesbury.com or from your favorite bookseller.
