UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Midtown Sacramento 21st & J

“Choosing More” ONLINE worship

Join in worship and communion with the church family! We often refer to this special time together as concentrated loving. Viewers tune in Saturdays or Sundays to hear the pre-recorded service.

On Sunday, January 9, 2022 “Choosing More” will reflect on Luke 3:15-22 and 4:1. Here we see Jesus choose to go to be baptized, just like the crowds who came to John seeking more connection with God. Then, Jesus chooses … chooses (!) to go into the wilderness to consider what his baptism means for him. Do you remember the powerful liturgy where pastors say, “Remember your baptism and be thankful”? Let’s consider how we can re-choose our baptismal gift in this time of our lives.
