“Cornering and Calls” Online Worship for October 3, 2021

Join in worship and communion with the church family! We often refer to this special time together as concentrated loving. Viewers tune in Saturdays or Sundays to hear the pre-recorded service. On October 3, we celebrate World Communion Sunday. Our message is entitled, “Cornering and Calls.” We’ll look at how Joseph in the book of Genesis managed the “cornering” in his wild journey to fulfill his call, all the while reflecting on our own wild journeys and the calls we can fulfill along the way. We’ll read Genesis 12:1-2 and 41:46-49, 53-55. We are a faith community deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus by celebrating God, Life and the Arts; calling and action for justice; engaging persons of all sexual and affectional orientations; and welcoming diversity across spiritual, racial, cultural, generational, or cultural lines. Contact us by email at admin2100@firstumcsac.org or phone (916)446-5025. Our Facebook page is at FirstUMCSac. We are located at 2100 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95816.
