UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Midtown Sacramento 21st & J

Online Worship for August 29, 2021

Today’s message is entitled, “Do It!” from the book of James. This is a New Testament version of what is called the “wisdom tradition” in biblical scholarship. It begins by tying all good to God, and finishes with a challenged to put whatever faith we have into action. These are important words.

Here is the opportunity to commune with the faith community for worship this week online. This pre-recorded 25 minute service features music, Scripture reading, an inspirational message, and Holy Communion.

We are a faith community deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus by celebrating God, Life and the Arts; calling and acting for justice; engaging persons of all sexual and affectional orientations; and welcoming diversity across spiritual, racial, cultural, generational, or economic lines.

More inspirational messages can be found at https://firstumcsac.org or on Facebook (@FirstUMCSac. Email pastor: rod@firstumcsac.org or call: (916) 446-5025.
