UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Midtown Sacramento 21st & J

Online Worship for August 8, 2021

Today’s message is entitled, ” A Dream Community” from Ephesians 4:25-5:2. It is never easy to be in community, and yet we are born to be. This passage expresses an early church dream for what church can mean, and what individual life can be full of. It also acknowledges the detours we fan take in our call to be the community of God.

Here is the opportunity to commune with the faith community for worship each week online. This pre-recorded 25 minute service features music, Scripture reading, an inspirational message, and Holy Communion.

We are a faith community deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus by celebrating God, Life and the Arts; calling and acting for justice; engaging persons of all sexual and affectional orientations; and welcoming diversity across spiritual, racial, cultural, generational, or economic lines.
