“The Simplest Centering” Online Worship for November 14, 2021

Join in worship and communion with the church family! We often refer to this special time together as concentrated loving. Viewers tune in Saturdays or Sundays to hear the pre-recorded service.

On Sunday, November 14th, “The Simplest Centering” takes us to Luke 22: 14-20. Note how the Passover meal is imbued with thanksgiving. It’s bigger than that. We might feel strange with prayers over meals, but it was a core piece of spiritual life thousands of years ago for the Hebrew community. Each bite of food and draught of drink was a moment to receive, to commune, and to live into a profound and almost-ecstatic gratefulness.

We are a faith community deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus by celebrating God, Life and the Arts; calling and action for justice; engaging persons of all sexual and affectional orientations; and welcoming diversity across spiritual, racial, cultural, generational, or cultural lines.
